Haiku (Dishes & Supper) |
---|
(ekkis)
I wash the dishes
whilst making supper for us
— I run a tight ship
(suzshi)
I sit back and gaze
watching the maestro busy
outpouring of love
working steadfastly
precision mixed with focus
such sublime results
Afterwards I dream
of our next featured supper
my mouth, watering..
(ekkis)
my love and I write
to each other in haiku
our hearts bound in form
the Japanese form
of brevity and insight
we have come to share
haiku and dinner
and kisses in the shower
— happiness inside
(suzshi)
More so than just poems
we share heart, destiny, love
all the wondrous things
As well as creatures
and even love for my son
our life is entwined
Oh yes! I can’t wait
your love scrubbing me so clean
love and water stream
warmth and good feeling
sparkling clean from coffee rubs
our smiling eyes meet
(ekkis)
life, so strange it is
how it just keeps on giving
it’s hard to believe
very soon soft lips
loving eyes, warm embraces
— I am coming home
