Haiku (Dishes & Supper)
(ekkis) I wash the dishes whilst making supper for us — I run a tight ship (suzshi) I sit back and gaze watching the maestro busy outpouring of love working steadfastly precision mixed with focus such sublime results Afterwards I dream of our next featured supper my mouth, watering.. (ekkis) my love and I write to each other in haiku our hearts bound in form the Japanese form of brevity and insight we have come to share haiku and dinner and kisses in the shower — happiness inside (suzshi) More so than just poems we share heart, destiny, love all the wondrous things As well as creatures and even love for my son our life is entwined Oh yes!  I can’t wait your love scrubbing me so clean love and water stream warmth and good feeling sparkling clean from coffee rubs our smiling eyes meet (ekkis) life, so strange it is how it just keeps on giving it’s hard to believe very soon soft lips loving eyes, warm embraces — I am coming home [26 XI 2020]
