Haiku (Sailing) |
---|
one day a steamship
will carry across the pond
these old bones and heart
and in the old world
a little pony I'll get
to show me around
and when I'm bored
of a country and its folk
quick I'll take my leave
and not bother much
with good-byes and au revoirs
- a tip of the hat
and I'll be off then
to strange lands and odd customs
and new adventures
until I tire
of dust, and hooves, and... and
hospitality
and then a wee sloop
I'm gonna get, for sailing
'round my little globe
