Sunshine girl |
---|
In haste she brushed past me, and I
have become awash in her light.
Like a leafe I quiver'd, my breast shy
but in me her innocence did such fires ignite
Of me she took no notice but that she would deny
I fell to my knees as I might
It is only proper and right
At first a challenge, a siege of the heart
my chance for romance and carnal conquest.
But such Byzantine stratagems are but part
of the games pagan deities play, I have guessed.
Tall, slender
wise, quiet
Brilliant, tender
mine lovely owlet.
From the worlds above onto my path she fell
and a great destiny for me I divine
for few are those who under her care and aegis may dwell.
A luminous realm, serene... sublime
a circle of love, this spell
wherein to mature, transcend and shine.
I pray my side you never leave, my Tonatiú.
My sunshine girl. Child of the northern sun.
And my lips your sweetness forever bedew.
May your love remain with me always, in my lyf's run.
