echtroi
For this bright scintilla of Creation is not unique For each Expression of the Null is illusion For each universe embeds Defect in its makeup For defect is no shortcoming but the yearning of the Null For its discovery heralds the manner of annihilation Which signifies a return to nullity For thy journey has been serendipitous For thy presence the liquidity of quiescence For these Gates have awaited thee For the completeness of time For their parting signifies an unveiling of Defect For but a glimpse leads to reckoning Which signifies the end of thy deception For this passage is the culmination of thy journey For henceforth shalt thou cross the great chasms For thy light shall remain whole, despite His darkness For thy spirit shall not perish but yet persist For this crossing is the end and the beginning Which signifies thy transcendence For we have been endowed with the authority For guarding and keeping these Gates For they conceal and protect the Defect For none within this universe may witness For the whole should evaporate into nullity For ’tis the privilege of Divine Will alone So thus art thou erased, eradicated — from the annals of this cosmos So thus is thy history altered — so as to thine origins deny So thus never shall thy progenitors meet — so as to thy birth prohibit So thus are the memories effaced — of those thou hast touched So thus are the bonds dissolved — with those thou owest and those that owe thee So thus are the records expunged — of thy misdeeds and thy accomplishments So thus is every trace wiped out — of thine existence in this realm So thus is the continuum fractured, splintering — into a myriad disconnected time segments For this, our sacred duty For the performance of our obligations For our creation was predicated on this probable outcome For the great covenant we uphold before the Null For the fulfilment of Destiny Thou may'st pass 22-IV-2019
The foregoing transcribes the ancient canticle recited by the host of the echtroi upon allowance of passage. It has been translated from the First Language from memory and though a reasonable effort has been made at elegance, it lacks the ferocity, profundity and sense of power, of which the sounds of that ancient tongue were capable. It is recorded in this obscure region of the multiverse for reasons purely sentimental and personal
